The Things Network - Austin

I am the initiator of the Austin community for The Things Network, which is a global connected-device network. We curently have a core team of 5 people and we are looking for Visual Designers and Experience Designers to add life through interaction with these newly connected sensors and systems.

A few focus areas are below:
Catch wildfires and floods at early stages.
Solar power usage and storage readouts across a network.
Monitor your workout activities.
Provide irrigation data for urban farms.
Get a mobile notification if your bike has been stolen.
Provide messaging support for large events.

We need your help of blanketing the community by hosting gateways.
